Scrapays

Scrapays is a Cleantech Startup that fuses Recycling, Technology, and Finance to help the 1% of the population in urban cities that survives by operating recycling businesses. We provide on-demand material recovery services to waste producers (individuals and enterprises) with a reward in commission per kilogram recovered. Our integrated offline and online technology (USSD, IoT, Web, Mobile App, and wallet System) in our decentralized recovery model ensures a less than a day recovery cycle for every pickup request. Our software-based (USSD, Web, Mobile App) recovery network consists of all four categories in the value chain - independent businesses, waste producers, Hosts, and Collectors. We provide them with the infrastructure and tools to help them control recyclable material recovery while creating self-managed businesses from it. Individuals and Enterprises can make money or get a better return from recyclable waste and Out-of-Use scrap-able items. Individuals can Host Show more collection outlets, become local Collectors, or manage operations by being a vendor. We also allow Agents to list their space as temporary Recyclable Hosting Locations and Collectors to collect the recyclables in their mapped zones. All partners duly receive commission per kilogram recovered.
