Mission Statement The vision of AVCCoop is:  Sustainable development of rural people and environment in a national context, based on local circumstances and local initiatives. This drives and motivates AVCCoop executives and members. The mission of the coop is to operate as a vibrant, innovative and information development and dissemination cooperative which through research, value chain development and finance activities and provision of advisory services particularly in the field of agriculture, natural resources management, and extension services contributes to ecologically sound, socially equitable, economically viable and culturally acceptable solutions. In pursuing this vision, the cooperative is promoting Agricultural Value Chain Development and Finance for Sustainable Rural Livelihoods. The process has two inter-related components-Developmental and Commercial – and goals aimed at using: • Agricultural Value Chain Development and • Agricultural Value Show more Chain Financing; as key “Entry Points” for • Diversifying the Nigerian economy, and • Achieving Sustainable Rural Development.
