Luke ‘Aire’ Oyovbaire is an award-winning filmmaker who specializes in directing, cinematography, and editing. He obtained a Master’s degree in Cinematography and Post Production from the University of Greenwich, London Luke has extensive experience in various fields, including narrative work (movies), corporate documentaries, and product commercials. He has worked on projects for prominent organizations and brands such as Guinness, Supersport, Heinrich Böll Foundation, Jobberman, United Nations, Ford Foundation, LEAP Africa, PLAC, EVA, Unity Bank etc. His exceptional work has been exhibited in cinemas, private screenings, film festivals, and broadcast television across several countries, including London, Toronto, Paris, Morocco, Rwanda, Kenya, South Africa, and Ghana. Aside from his impressive achievements in the film industry, Luke is also passionate about education. He has mentored over 1500 students through physical workshops, NGO programs, and online courses. Over the last 7 years, Luke has contributed his expertise to more than 20 feature films, three TV series, and over 10 short films, collaborating with international filmmakers in Nigeria, India, and London. His directorial debut Loving Rona earned him nominations for Best Movie Director Africa at the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival and Best Actor in a Comedy at the AMVCA 2022.
