Gbagada General Hospital

General Hospital, Gbagada (GBGH), was established on Tuesday, 27th of September, 1983 by the then Governor of Lagos State, Alhaji Lateef Kayode Jakande, during the second republic. The Hospital is strategically located at the T-junction of 3 (Three) major expressways; Victoria Island through 3rd Mainland Bridge, Lagos – Ibadan Expressway, and Badagry/Apapa Oshodi Expressway. This makes the hospital easily accessible throughout the length and breadth of Lagos State. In all, the hospital has about thirty-five departments, which includes a veritable Burns and Trauma tertiary center supervised by Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH); a maternal and paediatric department, as well as, Public Private Partnership (PPP) initiative Cardio Renal Centre, amongst others within the premises.
