Emerging Genderplus Outreach Team (EGOT)

Emerging Genderplus Outreach Team (EGOT) is a non-profit organization founded in 2018 and
registered with the Nigeria Corporate Affairs Commission according to the Allied Matters Act
1990. EGOT has the mission to spread SGBV Awareness messages in rural communities in Nigeria to curb the high incidences of sexual violence against women, girls and boys. EGOT is seeking to partner with concern individuals, relevant international and local organisations to implement projects that will help mobilize community stakeholders to challenge cultural perceptions and stereotypes that fuel gender-based violence and oppression against women and girls while influencing attitudes and behaviours in their various communities as change agent."

EGOT is a member of the Network against Child Trafficking, Abuse and Labour (NACTAL), an umbrella network of non-governmental organizations with over 100 membership desirous of achieving the care and protection of children, women and girls against all forms of SGBV.
